Oh, man, this chapter made me so emotional. The way that Jem denied the fact that these were all lies made me so angry, and when a writer can make me feel so angry and so sad about something that isn't even real, that's when I know they're a good author. I kept forgetting that this isn't a published book while reading it, and everything in it is just so amazingly put and so perfect. I can't wait to finish reading this story!
